The entire style of the museum is created by the interiors: a brightly lit hall, portraits of the Kolokolnikovs on the walls and a stall. This is the image of a shop of the end of the 19th -beginning of the 20th centuries.
The permanent exposition The History of a 19-20th century House is devoted to the history of the Ikonnikov and Kolokolnikov merchant families, and the historical events that took place in the house. So, in 1837 the future Emperor Alexander II and poet V.A. Zhukovsky stayed in the house. In 1919 the headquarters of Marshal V. K. Blyukher were situated there.
The permanent exhibition The Trade House of I.P.Kolokolnikov N-ki demonstrates a typical image of a large shop or stall in Tyumen at the end of 19th -beginning of the 20th centuries. Among them there is Altshuller`s Clock Shop, Moiseev`s Hat Shop, Vorobeichikova`s Shoe Shop, Sheshukova`s Luxuries from Vienna, and, of course, the shop of the Kolokolnikovs, which sold tea, sugar and colony goods.
On the second floor of the stall visitors find themselves in the living-room, where they can enjoy the interior of the house and the view from the entresol to the shop windows of the sales area.
